Co.EXIST reports: [edited]

Watch videos of an amazing new MIT-developed lubricant called 'LiquiGlide'

Without LiquiGlide

The market for sauce bottles is worth $17 billion. If all those bottles had this coating, [MIT] estimate that we could save about one million tons of food from being thrown out every year.

If it makes the sauce slide out of the bottle easier, then I dread to think what it will do inside you! A more natural solution to the problem of the remaining tomato ketchup in a bottle is to tip into the bottle some olive oil, vinegar, and a splode of mustard. Replace the lid, shake well and you have a nice tomato vinaigrette in a clean bottle. Cheers Big Bad Pete.
